Tough new Antismoking laws 1 August 2017

Tough new Antismoking laws 1 August 2017 have been introduced banning smoking from nearly all outdoor dining areas. This applies to Melbourne and the entire state. The laws came into effect on 1 August 2017. A fine of up to $777 can be imposed on individual smokers who ignore the new laws. A  whack of $7773 may be imposed on businesses too. So, its not just smokers at risk of being fined but businesses also.
